We consider your child as a rough diamond, which has to be approached gently and carefully to make it radiate. We are always conscious of this responsibility at Bengel & Engel and permanently act according to that. Our concepts, its content and structures are set up in such a way that your child can pursue an optimal individual development. By the time it enters elementary school, the developing diamond will already be clearly visible.

The world out there is very complex for our youngsters, full of dangers and challenges. In order to give your children guidance in their lives, we at Bengel & Engel emphasize clear rules and rituals. A „no“ always means no, a „yes“ always means yes. Rituals – attuned to the children’s own rhythms – will give them stability and orientation and will make the free spaces for trying out new things and engaging in play even more valuable. At the latest when your children reach the school age, this type of learned behaviour will be at their advantage.

At Bengel & Engel friends come together. Your children are forming a community that pursues an important path together. In this we don’t want and simply cannot replace your role as parents or siblings. Our preference is to meaningfully complement the impulses of each individual family and to stimulate areas, where it is beneficial. Therefore, the time at Bengel & Engel has a great value for your child throughout its lifetime.

Education does not just start in school. Every child experiences education right from its birth. The Bengel & Engel team is able to estimate where and when education can make a meaningful contribution to your child’s advancement and how un-forced education can create fun and pleasure. We understand education - from the cradle up to the Bengel & Engel pre-school - as creating the basis for lifelong learning on which the children can always rely on.

The Bengel & Engel team accompanies your child from 10 months old until it gets enrolled into school. We are supporting a “closed concept”, which means that the children are admitted to either section: the nursery (10 month -3 years of age) or the elementary section (3-6 years of age) with integrated pre-school. In this way we can optimally adapt to the needs of each child in regards to its age.

Small children look up to their parents. Therefore, it is important that parents present themselves as self-confident role models, who have their own ideas and goals and put them into practice. Especially for fathers, this is not always an easy task in our society. At Bengel & Engel we are eager to work towards the strengthening of the role of being a father by providing every individual with a platform to enhance their own ability to act: for a small or a bigger change, for their own benefit, the benefit of the mother and for the benefit of the child, which is optimally being cared for by Bengel & Engel even for eight to ten hours at a time.

Pedagogues are not simply pedagogues. Bengel & Engel therefore emphasises that the care takers of your child have a good educational foundation. We employ studied pedagogues from different departments. Because being qualified also means being motivated. And by being motivated, our employees have the right attitude to always pass on the very best to your child, day by day.

Eating habits are learned early in life and are hardly ever let go off later on. Therefore, Bengel & Engel wants to set the course for that right here. We are offering your children a balanced mixture of vegetables, salad and fish. Our food does not contain instant products or chemical ingredients like flavour enhancers or thickeners. We don’t use sugar, real fruits and honey make our food sweet. For drinks we offer water and sugar free tea.

The Bengel & Engel team emphasises the little things in life. That includes quiet gestures, friendliness, respect, and appreciation and also the little details in the set up of our rooms. For example, new children are introduced to the other children with a welcoming poster and their photograph even before they arrive in the day care centre. The next birthday child in the row receives a little birthday frame with a self-made little boat. On our group tables we have little pitchers with drinks, we arrange flowers depending on the season and a lot more. Bengel & Engel always has new ideas.
